How it works

From questions to a working plan.

Prism runs like a well-designed exam: short, focused, and built to find what matters. Here is the whole process.

What the score measures

Three things, measured separately

Readiness

Whether your systems, workflows, and governance can support AI. Your PMS, how standardized the front office runs, who owns the effort, and whether you track results.

Sentiment

How your team actually feels about using it. Measured from the team rather than assumed. Resistance is usually a sign that nobody explained the rules.

AI IQ

A short knowledge check, not a self-rating, because confidence without understanding is how AI projects fail. Real situations, like what has to happen before an AI-drafted message reaches a patient.

Step one

Answer a short assessment

Tell Prism about your practice, your systems, your team, and where the week goes. The owner version takes about ten minutes. Invite your team and Prism sharpens the picture with their input, anonymously.

If one owner takes the assessment alone, Prism labels the result preliminary, because that is what it is. Team input turns a preliminary read into a validated one.

Step two

Get your AI Fit Score

Prism measures three things separately: readiness, whether your systems, workflows, and governance can support AI. Sentiment, how your team actually feels about using it. And AI IQ, a short knowledge check, because confidence without understanding is how AI projects fail. The three combine into one Fit Score and a plain English level, from Exploring to Leading.

Step three

See your use cases, ranked

Prism scores the specific workflows in your practice, insurance verification, recall and reactivation, claims narratives, intake, scheduling, and ranks them by impact and readiness. Each lands in one of four buckets: start now, prepare first, governance required, or delay.

Step four

Get your blueprint

A phased plan built from your results. Safe, non-clinical wins first. Anything touching sensitive information is gated until the safeguards are in place. Each phase names what to do and what has to be true before you start.
